Max and I have experienced some pretty memorable fishing moments over the years, but this trip will definitely remain one of our favorites. We ventured to Rhode Island to try and get on the crazy bluefin tuna action that has been going on lately. Surrounded by whales, dolphins, sea turtles and sharks-- the sight seeing alone out there is enough to make a long trip like that all worth it-- but the bluefin tuna fishing we encountered was the cherry, on top of the icing, on the cake (to say the least). We were in the fleet for the beginning of the trip jigging and trolling, when we finally decided to explore beyond and try to find the fish all to ourselves. That was the best decision we made-- as we stumbled across bluefin feeding for miles and we had them all to ourselves. Not a boat in sight, Max and I were landing fish after fish after fish-- nothing but smiles on our faces the entire time. It was a memory that will forever be remembered.
