BASSIN' AT SUNSET
The season that all New England anglers have been waiting for is finally upon us. Although you can fish all winter long for holdover Striped Bass, at some point the cold gets rough and the fish deserve a break. The migratory Bass are now making their way to the Sound, with some decent sized fish already arriving. Fish have been most active in the shallows where the water temps are warmest right now. The Bass have been taking SP minnows, stick baits and we've had the occasional blow up on top water. The time to fish right now is sunrise and sunset. It's an early start with some nice fish in the mix. Good luck to all anglers this season!
