Chocolate Berry Protein Shake
The perfect post- workout treat!
I usually mix up this delicious protein shake after my workout. You can use it as a meal replacement, or just enjoy it as an afternoon delight. I love making protein shakes because you can play around with the ingredients and add different things each time. I'll share the protein powder that I prefer, but you can of course use any protein powder you want! I have a big sweet tooth, so my protein shake has to be a little sweet for me (the berries help with this!). However, I try to stay away from cane sugar so I'll show you what I replace that with too!
What you need:

I've been using Gainful protein powder for awhile now-- I love it because it's a personalized protein powder, so they can customize your protein based on your dietary restrictions. I use the keto blend to avoid sugar and carbs. It is a flavorless powder, so your order comes with "flavor packs" to add to your shakes. I only use them if I'm just doing a shake with almond milk and ice. For this shake, I don't add them in but wanted to show you guys that option too. The chia seeds can also be optional, but they are a good way to get some super food into your diet.
Make your shake:
Add one scoop of protein powder, 1 spoonful of coconut milk yogurt (or any yogurt of your choice), 2 spoonfuls of unsweetened cocoa powder, a handful of frozen berries, 6 ice cubes, 2 tbsp of monkfruit sweetener, 1/2 tsp chia seeds and 1.5 cups of almond milk to your blender and mix it up!
I swear by my Nutribullet! I've had it for years and it never lets me down. You can do so much with it (not just shakes).
